Renovations to the 55,000 square foot elementary school included roof replacement and restoration of the exterior masonry. The unit ventilator based HVAC system was completely replaced. A phased construction plan was included in the bidding documents which permitted the school to remain in operation throughout the school year. Construction was completed on time, with no interruptions of classes. The project was under budget, which permitted the Board of Education to increase the scope of the project with the unspent funds. Subsequent projects included air conditioning for the gymnasium and auditorium, additional flat roof replacement, toilet room upgrades, and interior renovations incorporating flooring, ceiling, and door upgrades. |
